Dr. Janine Matos is originally from Tampa, Florida but has since discovered West Michigan's beauty and is now a MidWest gal at heart. She earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of South Florida. After college, she completed her general dental training at the University of Detroit Mercy. She then participated in and finished a general practice residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan with extensive training treating special needs patients. Realizing her passion for Endodontics, Dr. Matos continued her education in Graduate Endodontics at Ohio State University, where she received a Master's of Science degree and completed research in acute endodontic pain management. She continuously works to relieve patients' pain, save their natural teeth and build their trust and confidence towards their oral health.
Her husband, Jordan, is also a dentist in the West Michigan area and has introduced her to the beautiful shores and landscapes the area has to offer. They are excited to join our West Michigan community and establish long term roots. Together they enjoy hiking, rock climbing, cooking (and eating), as well as exploring West Michigan with their best dog pal, Ollie.
